The M.S. online degree program in Youth Development Leadership is designed to equip students with the knowledge to create youth environments that assist young people to develop into healthy, competent, and contributing citizens. Students as a cohort explore strategies that foster strong youth-serving organizations. A dynamic learning environment for study includes weekly interactive classes, team projects, and discussion boards taught by faculty and adjuncts who are experts in their fields. Courses are 7 weeks in duration and designed to meet the needs of students who are working professionals. The 2019 M.S.YDL Graduate Survey results document that 84% report a salary increase and/or expanded job opportunities as a result of receiving the M.S. in YDL.
