Pediatric Wellbeing: Understanding Growth Plates and Common Youth Sports Injuries - 11/12/2026

Virtual — Zoom Thursday, November 12, 2026 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time Export to iCalendar

Children’s bones are still developing, which means an injury that appears to be a simple ankle or wrist sprain may actually involve a growth plate fracture. This webinar will help camp professionals recognize common acute injuries as well as overuse conditions related to growth, including apophysitis such as Sever’s disease, Osgood-Schlatter disease, and Little League elbow. Participants will learn which symptoms can be monitored at camp, when activity should be modified, and which warning signs require prompt medical evaluation.

*If applicable, register early to take advantage of early bird rates.
