During this session, the United States Department of Justice’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), will provide participants with an understanding of emerging threats to children, how to prevent children from becoming victims, and how to respond if a child has been victimized. The webinar will also provide resources for further information on protecting children.

Provide learners with an awareness of the current emerging threats to children in the online world, including financially motivated sextortion, sadistic online exploitation, and AI-generated deepfakes. 

Ensure trusted adults use victim-centered and trauma-informed approaches when handling a case of child victimization.
