New Director Orientation (NDO)- Blended/Facilitated Cohort EE 4/23/26-5/21/26

The ACA New Director Orientation (NDO) is a course for seasonal or newer camp directors, assistant directors, program directors, and others moving into camp leadership positions. The course includes an overview of all the aspects of the director's job with the primary focus on the summer operation. The blended/facilitated course combines the asynchronous course with weekly facilitated group discussions in a virtual format. Weekly discussion sessions will meet over Zoom on Thursdays on the dates listed below. Meeting time is 2:30pm (EST) and will last up to 90 minutes in length. Each week will discuss one unit of the course curriculum. Registered participants will receive separate emails with access to the course materials and Zoom information. Registration will close on April 19 or when the course fills to ensure participants can access the coursework prior to the first meeting.
