Join fellow camp professionals for a day of connection, learning, and inspiration during ACA Michigan Camp Tours. Visit two unique camp properties, explore their programs and facilities, and exchange ideas with colleagues from across Michigan.

- Howell Nature Center – Howell, MI: Explore 230 acres of woods and wetlands featuring outdoor education, summer camps, wildlife rehabilitation, adventure programs, and more.
- North Star Reach – Pinckney, MI: Tour a fully accessible medical camp serving children with significant health challenges and their families at no cost.
Tuesday, October 6
- 9:30–10 AM – Check-in & mingle at Howell Nature Center
- 10 AM–12 PM – Howell Nature Center tour
- 12–1 PM – Lunch
- 1–1:30 PM – Travel to North Star Reach
- 1:30–3 PM – North Star Reach tour
- 3 PM – Wrap-up & depart
Good to Know
Bring your own lunch, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Attendees are responsible for transportation between locations. Parking and check-in will be at Lakeview Lodge at Howell Nature Center.
Who Can Attend?
The tour is free and open to ACA members and non-members. Camp directors, leadership teams, program and facility staff, emerging professionals, and others interested in Michigan's camp community are welcome.
