Two days of hands-on workshops and networking built for early-career professionals in youth camping. Hosted by ACA Texoma EPIC Leadership and sponsored by the Sequor Youth Development Initiative and the Recreation Education Council at Texas A&M University.

What you’ll do:

  • Prep to present. Learn how to write strong conference proposals, sharpen your public speaking, and get peer feedback on your ideas in small groups.
  • Build better staff training. Design purposeful trainings that line up with your camp’s values and prepare staff to make a real impact on youth.
  • Partner with universities. Explore staff recruitment, research partnerships, and project collaboration, with the Texas A&M Youth Engagement Office sharing ways to work with one of the nation’s largest universities.
  • Connect. Relax with peers during social hours with games and casual time to build camaraderie.

Who should attend: Camp directors and assistant directors, emerging leaders, staff trainers, and anyone passionate about youth camping who wants to grow their skills and network.
