Please join us for the ACA Winnekota Leadership Summit featuring Michael Brandwein!  Volunteers from Northland (Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota) and Wisconsin are teaming up to plan this event.  You and your leadership team will leave with ideas to get you ready for staff training and for the summer.  Participants can count on an action-packed day full of engaging, timely and useful information.  Bring yourself, your full-time teams, and your seasonal leaders. The day promises to get you fired up for the summer!  All sessions will be recorded and available for 30 days following the event.  

Registration includes a full day of virtual program.  As an industry, we are all facing economic challenges as a result of the pandemic.  We have priced this event as economically as possible.  ACA, Northland and ACA, Wisconsin have made available some limited reserve funds so that we can offer a subsidized rate for  ACA Wisconsin and Northland members most in need of assistance.  Please register at the rate that best fits your circumstances.  If you need additional financial assistance, please contact Betsy Thamert (765-342-1349). 

Michael (michaelbrandwein.com) trains camp leadership teams and staffs virtually and face-to face. He has presented in all 50 states and on six of the seven continents. He is the number one best-selling author of staff training and supervision books for camps, including Training Terrific Staff (Volumes 1 & 2), Super Staff SuperVision, (CIT/LIT) Learning Leadership: How to Develop Outstanding Teen Leadership Training Programs at Camp, and Skill of the Day: What Great Leaders of Young People Do and Say. His latest best-seller is called Growing Great Qualities in Kids: The L.A.S.E.R.B.E.A.M. Technique for Bringing Out the Best in Young People. He has presented three Emmy® award-winning TV programs on youth communication, has won two American Camp Association national awards, and is a former ACA national board member. Michael lives in Chicago with his wife Donna, a sign language interpreter for the Deaf, and they have two sons, Dave and Benjamin, both educators.

Additional Information

Cancellations must be in writing and can be faxed or emailed to: (765) 342-2065, fax or events@ACAcamps.org.  Phone cancellations are not accepted. The cancellation deadline is 3/25/2021.  Cancellations received by 3/25/2021 will be eligible for a refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee.  Cancellations received less than 2 weeks before the event will not be refunded.  If ACA cancels the event, the registration fee paid will be fully refunded.
