The 2021 Western Camps Virtual Conference will feature 18 educational sessions including roundtables, panel discussions and “lightning round” micro-learning opportunities spanning three days.  This combined event is hosted by professional development volunteers from all six of ACA’s Western Field Offices.  We will share practical solutions and lessons learned from last summer to help you prepare for next summer.  We will explore the most relevant topics facing camp operators: employment law and regulations, wildfire preparation and recovery, cyber security, insurance, positive youth development and much more.

The 2021 Western Camps Virtual Conference is coming to you!  Join the conference from the safety and convenience of your home, office or anywhere you like.  The online delivery of this year’s conference increases the benefits of convenience and value.  We know you are spending a lot of time on screens, so we are designing the conference with you in mind.  You will not have to endure endless hours of staring at your computer, phone or tablet.   The conference will feature shorter bursts of education and plenty of time to connect with other camp directors.  And here is the best part, you will have access to all the recorded sessions for a full month following the conference, in case you miss something you are interested in or were viewing a concurrent session.  

And we know you are looking forward to connecting with peers.   The committee is planning some great networking opportunities to discuss important issues with affinity groups.  We will also have regional meetings to provide updates and conversation specific to your area.

Registration fee includes access to recorded sessions for 30 days following the conference. 

Additional Information

Cancellations received at least 2 weeks prior to the event are eligible for a refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks before event will not be refunded. No-shows are not refundable. A written cancellation request is required and can be faxed or emailed to (765) 342-2065 fax or events@ACAcamps.org. Phone cancellations are not accepted. If ACA cancels the event for which you have registered, the registration fee paid will be fully refunded. ACA is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of your registration, whether the event is attended, postponed, or cancelled. All registration payments must be made by the event date in order for participants to be admitted to the event.  

Use of Images in ACA Publications: Through my registration, I give American Camp Association full rights and permissions with respect to any photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the ACA event. These images and recordings may be used by ACA, and its agents, in educational and promotional media.
