ACA, New England is excited to head to Vermont for our 2023 Fall Resident Camp Tours!

These tours offer attendees a chance to visit seven overnight camp prpoerties in two days. This year’s tours will be hosted by Brown Ledge Camp, Kiniya at Dudley, YWCA Camp Hochelaga, Songadeewin and Keewaydin Dunmore, & Farm and Wilderness.

This is a great opportunity to see a variety of camp properties, experience how other organizations run their programs and facilities, re-energize by networking with peers, discuss lessons learned and hot topics from the past summer, and gain new ideas as your off-season planning begins.

The $179/member; $199/non-member registration fee includes two lunches. Travel, lodging, breakfast, and dinner are not included.

We will kick off at Brown Ledge Camp around 10:30 am on Monday, September 11 and expect to finish at Farm & Wilderness by 3:30 pm on Tuesday, September 12.

Use of Images and Audio by ACA, New England: Through my registration, I give Amercian Camp Association, New England (ACANE) full rights and permissions with respect to any photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the ACANE event. These images and recordings may be used by ACANE and its agents in any format or meduim and for any lawful purpose.

Additional Information

All registration fees are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another individual from your camp/organization.

2023 host camps are located in the Burlington (Monday), Middlebury (Tuesday), and Killington (Tuesday) areas (approximately 3 - 3.5 hours from Boston, MA; 1.5 - 2.5 hours from Manchester, NH; 2.5 - 3.5 hours from Hartford, CT)

Overnight Accommodations:  ACA, New England has secured a hotel block for attendees at Courtyard by Marriott Middlebury for the evening of Monday, September 11 at a rate of $179/night + tax. To book, please call the hotel directly at (802) 388-7600 OR toll-free at (800) 388-7775 and mention you aree with the “American Camp Association Room Block “group. Rate avaialble until block is full or September 1, 2023.

Additional hotel or Airbnb options may be available in Burlington, Middlebury, Rutland, Killington, or other areas, depending on how far you'd like to drive. We will end the day on Monday around 5:30 pm at YWCA Camp Hochelaga in South Hero, VT and start the day Tuesday with a tour of Keewaydin in Salisbury, VT at 9 am.
