Please join us for the 2024 Southeastern Fall Camp Conference in Greenville, SC. The event will feature educational breakout sessions covering topics such as character development, programming, latest trends, and risk management. Attendees have the opportunity for professional development and networking with peers and experts. Additionally, the exhibit hall will showcase products and services relevant to camps!

  • Funding Character Development at Camp: Steps and Strategies for Successful Grant-Writing 
    The purpose of this workshop is to equip participants with the skills to successfully apply for grants to support their camp mission.  With a specific focus on the Character at Camp grant program (opening January 2025), participants will learn the steps and skills necessary for applying for basic grants, including how to find grants, how to tell if they're aligned with your needs, components of a basic grant application, and what happens next if you do or do not receive a grant.
  • Character Development at Camp: What it is and How to Get There 
    The purpose of this workshop is to understand what character is (and what it's not!) from the perspective of science of learning & development.  With this knowledge, participants will identify specific character development goals for their campers and staff and develop a road map for achieving those outcomes through staff training, program design, and parent and community engagement.

Additional Information

Cancellations received at least 2 weeks prior to the event are eligible for a refund, minus a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks before event will not be refunded. No-shows are not refundable. A written cancellation request is required and can be faxed or emailed to (765) 342-2065 fax or events@ACAcamps.org. Phone cancellations are not accepted. If ACA cancels the event for which you have registered, the registration fee paid will be fully refunded. ACA is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of your registration, whether the event is attended, postponed, or cancelled. All registration payments must be made by the event date in order for participants to be admitted to the event.

Use of Images in ACA Publications: Through my registration, I give American Camp Association full rights and permissions with respect to any photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the ACA event. These images and recordings may be used by ACA, and its agents, in educational and promotional media.
