Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent J. Miller brings over 33 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, beginning his career in the U.S. Coast Guard. Over the years, he has served in various roles including Juvenile Officer, Police Officer, and Deputy Sheriff K-9 Handler. For the past 24 years, Agent Miller has served with HSI, where he is currently assigned to the Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Group in Washington State. He is also an active member of the Washington Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Agent Miller regularly presents online safety to students, parents, and professionals both across the United States and internationally, drawing from his extensive experience to educate and protect communities.
