Every camp staff member is a trusted adult to the children they serve. Join the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as we discuss how to ensure the safety and well-being of campers in the digital age and beyond. In this session, we will explore data and trends in online safety and how some of these issues can affect campers both online and at camp. We’ll discuss recognizing early warning signs, prevention strategies, and how to empower camp staff with free resources and tools.

• recognize child safety risks and how they may affect behavior at camp
• obtain practical strategies to implement safety measures within camp settings
• learn how to utilize NCMEC’s free, age-appropriate prevention and reporting resources.
