Fall Conference registration is fantastic and rooms at The Nature Place are booked.  Please register for the conference at the commuter rate and plan to stay off-site.  There are several options nearby.

Microtel Inn and Suites in Woodland Park--35 minutes from The Nature Place

 

Please join us for the Rocky Mountain Fall Conference!  A variety of educational sessions, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall and more will be featured.  Enjoy a time of inspiration, first-rate professional development, and fun at The Nature Place in Florissant, CO.

Early Bird registration is available through October 12, 2023.  

  • Registration includes conference program, 2 nights lodging (Wednesday and Thursday), and six meals (Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch).  
  • Commuter registration is available for those staying offsite and includes conference program and six meals (Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch).  It does not include overnight lodging.  
  • Camping registration includes conference program, tent or camper space, and six meals (Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch).  
  • Lodging will be in double or triple rooms.

CampWell
CampWell is six-hour skills-based, training course that guides participants to identify, understand, cultivate, and create a community of well-being. CampWell is a collaboration between the American Camp Association (ACA) and the Alliance for Camp Health (ACH) and is supported by the H.E. Butt Foundation. 

CampWell Training at the Rocky Mountain Fall Conference
•    To sign up for the CampWell track, select this option in step 4 of the online registration process. 
•    The registration fee for CampWell is $45.  Upon completion of the course, participants will have the content and resources necessary to incorporate CampWell into their staff training in 2024.  Participating camps will receive the Alliance for Camp Health (ACH) MESH Resource Guide and slide deck and a complimentary ACH membership.    
•    The goal is that camps who wish to be part of this training will register two staff for the track.  Those participants will attend all CampWell sessions.  If camps wish to register more or less than two staff, contact Betsy Thamert bthamert@ACAcamps.org, 765-342-1349.
•    If you have already registered for the conference and would like to participate in the CampWell track, contact Betsy Thamert bthamert@ACAcamps.org, 765-342-1349.  
•    CampWell training will be incorporated into regular breakout sessions.  In other words, there will be designated CampWell sessions during breakouts.
•    CampWell sessions will be limited to those who are registered for the CampWell track.  
 

Additional Information

Cancellations must be in writing and can be faxed to (765) 342-2065 or emailed to events@ACAcamps.org.  Phone cancellations are not accepted. The cancellation deadline is 10/24/2023.  Cancellations received by 10/24/2023 will be eligible for a refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee.  Cancellations received less than 2 weeks before the event will not be refunded.  If ACA cancels the event, the registration fee paid will be fully refunded. 

Use of Images in ACA Publications: Through my registration, I give American Camp Association full rights and permissions with respect to any photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the ACA event. These images and recordings may be used by ACA, and its agents, in educational and promotional media.
