Summer and Auxiliary Programs: Thinking about Measurement, Data Collection, and Analysis
Data matters. We all track and look at data benchmarks before, during, and post-camp. Do you ever wonder why you track some things, how to best use the data you’ve collected, if you’re missing something important, or what other summer/auxiliary programs are analyzing?
Join us for an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues (please come prepared to share the what and how of your program’s data collection), hear what other programs track, share your process and how you use the information you collect, and to ask/answer questions about each other’s practices.
Georgia Hall, PhD, Director of the National Institute on Out-of-School Time, will facilitate the day’s program.
Lunch is included with your registration fee.
Proposed Agenda:
- Welcome
- Why does data matter and what do we measure? - Presentation by Georgia Hall
- Small group discussions on data-related questions that matter to you
- Lunch
- Action mapping exercise
- Wrap-up
