NE Enhancing Social Emotional Supports with Campers

Online (ACA, New England's Zoom)
Tuesday, April 25, 2023 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM   Export to iCalendar Eastern Standard Time

After COVID, we have all seen the impact on the children in our care. Students that never showed anxiety or dysregulation are now showing impact. Further, children that were already on our radar seemed harder than ever to support. Chris and Ali will lead participants through steps that the Boston YMCA have taken (and continue to take) to train staff, add tools to support campers and add emotional support staff into the programming.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to build your own social emotional kits
  • How to organize support staff
  • Other ways/tools to support SEL
