NE Summer… Socially Distanced: A dynamic, interactive, and tool filled virtual training series

Online (ACA, New England's Zoom)
Wednesday, May 05, 2021 - Wednesday, May 19, 2021   Export to iCalendar Eastern Standard Time

Join Eric Rowles of Leading to Change for a three-session series that will help you prepare for summer 2021. Even with in-person camp happening, there are lots of things we should probably be thinking about differently – from how to support our team to staff orientation to programming and lots of best practices as it relates to tools of the trade. Each Wednesday in May will have a different focus from 1:00 - 2:00 pm ET:

  • May 5:  Leadership Relearned (Management focus)
  • May 12:  Raising Our Game (Programmatic focus)
  • May 19:  Tools of the Trade (Tools focus)

A series registration is for one seat per date – attend all three yourself, mix-and-match and send a different one of your staff members to each session, or buy multiple seats for a group of your staff, depending on what is relevant to their role!

If you register after one or more sessions in the series have already taken place, we will provide you with a recording to the session(s) you missed.

About the Presenter: Eric Rowles is a nationally recognized trainer and speaker who has worked with over 150,000 recreation professionals, administrators, volunteers, and policymakers within the past 15 years. (NJ), Director of International Youth Summer Abroad (CA), Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator with Riverside County Friday Night Live (CA), and ran a traveling theater company that toured for over 10 years. Eric understands the summer camp community and recently presented at the 2021 Northeast CAMP Conference.
